Position Details & Responsibilities

We have been retained by a Leading Global Equipment Manufacturer in the DFW area to help them identify a new, Commercial Manager/Business Operations Analyst.

Our client is expanding NA operations and the primary responsibilities in this role will be, to develop process, procedure and compliance for internal departments, analyzing data and providing information to the management team to aid the decision-making process.

This will include:

  • Contribute to the development and growth of the company in the North American region by providing detailed analysis of the overall company and departmental performance (Whole goods and Aftermarket)
  • Provide feedback to and work with head office accounting departments in Austria
  • Overhead Analysis and cost saving recommendations
  • Product Pricing development from HQ transfer price to Dealer Net and Recommended Retail Local pricing
  • Competitor price Analysis / Market Research
  • Help develop new Retail and Floorplan finance programs with various local financial companies / banks. Both for self-use and for Dealer use
  • Be Integral in the implementation of a New ERP system from Head Office  
  • Assist in the development and implementation with the Sales team of new pay per use concepts
  • Risk Management
  • With the Managing Director create meaningful and measurable KPI’s for all KPI bonus linked staff
  • Assist in Legal issues as they arise from time to time with our Attorneys
  • Provide financial analysis support, deal margin analysis to the Area Sales managers as required to enable profitable deal closures
  • To evaluate and advise on new sales distribution channels (Dealers)

 

Qualifications

Position Requirements – Qualifications and Experience 

  • Relevant Education (i.e. Business or Financial degree desirable)
  • 5 years’ experience in a similar or equivalent industry
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience with both retail and wholesale capital sales  
  • Dealer management / development background desirable
  • Proven track record of delivering results and EBIT against budget
