Position Details & Responsibilities

Herk & Associates has been retained by a fast growing equipment auction company who is seeking an Outside Sales Representative to help them establish and grow their business in New Mexico.  Our client is seeking candidates who are self-motivated and enjoy the challenge of managing an established territory as well as hunting new business. 

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Develops and executes a plan to grow new accounts in person and via phone and networking in the field.
  • Achieve or exceed established sales goals as set by Manager
  • Deliver superior customer experience in order to achieve account retention and growth
  • Work diligently to uncover new opportunities in an assigned territory.  
  • Build strong, lasting relationships with dealers and operating location staff.
  • Knows the competition and how to sell against it


  • Looking for 2-5 years sales/ territory management in the heavy equipment industry
  • Track record of success in sales
  • Seeking someone with a hunter mentality
  • Good attention to detail
  • Strong relationship building skills.
  • Excellent Follow up.
  • Solid knowledge of the auction industry is strongly preferred.
