Position Details & Responsibilities

Our unique client is an organization with extensive experience providing technical support and outreach to its network of 16 counties in Southwest Georgia. Our client assists municipalities in training heavy equipment operators and is looking to add an experienced Simulator Instructor to their team to continue with high level training. This is an exciting new position after the recent acquisition of the simulator itself. The ideal candidate should have experience working with various types of heavy equipment while simultaneously having the ability to train operators and develop this new program. This role offers unlimited possibilities for growth and career advancement.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in operating various types of heavy equipment (Excavator, Dozer, Front End Loader, Dump Truck, etc.)
• Experience working wth a simulator
• Teaching/training experience
• Must have or be willing to obtain NCCER certifiction for heavy equipment
• OSHA safety certifications preferred
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Excellent organizational skills
• Attention to detail
• Must be able to demonstrate and present the services the proram offers to others
• Technical ability to pull, back, and park a 30 foot gooseneck trailer
• Flexibility and willingness to help others
• Basic computer skills
