Position Details & Responsibilities

A prominent heavy equipment dealership is seeking a Generator Sales Engineer to join their growing team in New York. This role will be responsible for all generator sales within the specified territory. This position requires both office technical work, such as reviewing specifications and submittals, and field sales work. This position will work closely with Branch Managers, Account Managers, and Inside Sales Reps to develop strategies to target end users, engineers, and contractors for continual growth.  This position will also be responsible for providing support on sales calls and site walks, conducting training, holding classes, and attending trade shows. Must have the knowledge and ability to quote and price generator packages as needed.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years working in a power related field - generators preferred 
• Must have industrial/construction industry experience working with general, electrical, and/or mechanical contractors
• PC proficiency
• CRM proficiency
• Excellent verbal and written communicatio skills
