Position Details & Responsibilities

Herk and Associates has been retained by a well-known industry leader in heavy equipment to assist in finding them an experienced Facilities Manager. This role is 50%-60% travel with significant travel at the onset of hire. Ideal candidate comes with a background in Facilities Management of multiple branches, construction management, and/or design/architecture. This person is responsible for facility efficiency, collaborating with branch management to ensure proper care and upkeep of physical branches while maintaining brand standards, maintaining corporate service agreements and supervision of external contractors. Additional responsibilities include proactively developing facility plans for all locations including budget, monitor utility costs, and oversee security of facilities and grounds.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree preferred
Previous facility management experience overseeing multiple branches (3-5 years)
Ability to effectively negotiate projects and agreements
Knowledge of industrial construction and design
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Strong organizational skills
Excellent communication skills
Detail oriented
Ability to lead projects
