Summary:

As Rental Department Manager, you will drive our rental operation in the region and work with our customers to identify the best rental equipment offerings and solutions for their unique needs. Every day you will interact with customers, lead the rental team, and manage the rental fleet with the goal of increasing market share in the region. To thrive in this role, you must be a great leader, have an entrepreneurial mindset, and have a strong desire to win.

  • Purchasing equipment for the rental fleet.
  • Maintaining inventory of rental equipment to maximize rentals and sales with minimum inventory costs.
  • Inform all general managers, sales staff, and rental staff of machine availability, cost, location, and status.
  • Make wholesale sales to other dealers, used equipment dealers, and auction yards.
  • Help create advertising materials on rental equipment.
  • Manage all policies, procedures, and appraisal activities on rental equipment.
  • Locate equipment as needed to satisfy customer needs.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree OR three or more years of relevant work experience.
  • In-depth knowledge and experience with material handling and construction equipment.
  • Excellent customer relations and communication skills.
  • Driver’s license with a good driving record.
