Herk & Associates has teamed up with a highly reputable Heavy Duty Truck Dealer who is seeking a Vice President to lead operations for their several branches in Nebraska.

The Vice President will be responsible for overseeing the development and performance of all operations & sales related activities across multiple locations. Candidate should be comfortable leading a team of approximately 100 employees. 

This is a critical hire for our client as the incumbent is approaching retirement after a long tenure and wants to know that he is leaving his team in great hands. We are seeking the right long-term match to oversee this group, but we are very open to considering TOP candidates in other industries such as Construction, Agriculture and Manufacturing. 

Qualifications

• Bachelor`s Degree in Business or Related field, MBA preferred
• 7-10 years of experience in Sales Management 
• Strong understanding of selling techniques for high-dollar value products
• Willingness to travel or work in multiple locations 
• Experience in Medium or Heavy Duty truck industry preferred, not required
• Candidate needs to live in NE or have ties to the region
