Herk & Associates is recruiting a Parts Sales Associate for a leading agriculture/construction equipment dealership in the Utica, NY region. 

Our client is looking for a Parts Sales Associate to bring their experience in customer service and anticipating needs towards making appropriate sales to clients. The role will include familiarizing oneself with the customer base and machinery, while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction through assisting with parts. 

Confidence and eagerness to succeed will set this person apart in helping the department get to the next level of business development. This position will provide lots of opportunities for advancement.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: 

• Greet customers and answering phones
• Identify technical solutions for unique needs/problems
• Parts Sourcing
• Follow through with the proper parts sales process
• Multitasking to manage a high-volume of customer service issues
• Coordinate with counterparts in the service department to complete orders
• Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction
• Maintain information in dealership database to keep accurate notes/records
• Anticipate customer needs and reach out preemptively to discuss parts solutions

Qualifications

Qualifications:

• Experience in a fast-paced dealership or equivalent customer service environment
• 2+ years proven retail sales experience and direct customer service
• Ability to quickly familiarize onesself with new machinery
• Familiarity with CRMs and/or other customer information tracking technology
• Strong record of good attendance and timeliness
• Great written and verbal communication skills
• Experience in the agriculture or construction industries is a huge plus
