Candidates should have previous material handling or related industry experience and management experience in the Parts and Service disciplines. Primary duties include developing and achieving departmental financial goals, developing revenue generating strategies, and the effective management and training of supervisors and staff. Candidates should have working knowledge of Parts and Service industry performance benchmarks, processes, and procedures. Excellent communication skills and a commitment to industry-best customer service are a requirement.

Position Details & Responsibilities

Brief Job Description: Service, repair, recondition, and assemble customer and dealership equipment, new or used. Maintain and operate shop equipment and tools, performing quality work, as quickly and profitably as possible.

Detailed Job Description:

• Recondition, repair, assemble and service equipment as assigned by the Shop Foreman/Service Manager.

• Review all product bulletins.

• Keep accurate easy-to-read records of work performed.

• Enter all parts and fluids to work orders as required.

• Check and report any shortages and malfunctions to shop foreman.

• Work with co-workers to control utilities and expenses.

• Promote the company with the customer.

• Suggest any additional repairs needed to the customer, shop foreman, or service manager.

• Stay current with technical changes, continuing your education by factory service schools, etc.

• Attend functions and meetings.

• Help maintain cleanliness, neatness and safety of building and lot.

• Keep shop vehicles clean and serviced.

• Participate in special programs, such as sales of service packages, demonstration programs, etc.

• Give special attention to repeat repair or comebacks to correct problems and avoid future shop comebacks and unnecessary expenses.

Education

High School diploma or GED. Control expenses to increase profitability. Perform other duties as requested by the service manager and assist other department personnel to ensure customer satisfaction.

Mining Equipment Electrician/Technician

Location: Green Valley, AZ (Tucson area)

Position Details & Responsibilities

Field service technician/electrician at a remote mine site responsible for maintaining and repairing heavy mining trucks electrical systems. Requires prior experience in the maintenance and repair of the electrical (and other) systems of electric drive mining trucks.

· Performs the preventive maintenance, diagnostic, and repair work needed to support a fleet of electric drive mining trucks.

· Requires heavy mining equipment electrical experience such as wheel motors and other mining equipment fleet electrical systems.

· Performs other equipment maintenance and repair work as needed to maintain high fleet availability for mining support equipment.

· Position is located at a customer’s mine site near Green Valley, AZ. Position is based out of Road Machinery’s Tucson branch.

Qualifications

Three to ten years related experience maintaining electrical systems on large mining trucks.
