Position Details & Responsibilities

ECA Canada Company is a leading supplier of premier Foundation Construction equipment and is looking to grow its business in the Mining and related industries. We’re looking for right person to join our team and champion this initiative.

The ideal candidate will draw on their experience in the Mining sector and bring solutions to their customers that our equipment can provide. This will entail covering eastern Canada as a professional sales representative, securing profitable business for the company through proper planning, effective territorial coverage, effective sales presentations and proper administration.


· Secure orders, conduct surveys of assigned territory, study product population.

· Travel throughout assigned territory to call on regular and prospective customers.

· Recommend specific standard or modified equipment best suited for customer`s use.

· Maintain personal relationships with customers, assist at trade shows, exhibits, demonstrations and meetings.

· Keep current with new products developed by our suppliers and by competition.

· Develop business and action plans for assigned territories.

· Maintain records of calls, sales call reports, follow up on all leads and inquiries.

· See that equipment is correctly delivered and meets all of the conditions of the sale.

· Attend mandatory sales meetings and company training programs.

· Other duties as assigned.


· Bilingual in both French & English.

· Minimum 5+ years’ experience in Mining and/or Heavy Equipment sales

· Bachelor Degree in Management, Marketing or related discipline preferred; equivalent work experience will be considered.

· Valid Driver’s License and ability to travel regularly/extensively.

· Proficiency in computer software applications e.g. Word, Excel, Outlook, CRM, etc.

· Effective customer service and interpersonal skills.

· Ability to balance teamwork and individual responsibilities.

· High degree of professionalism.

· Dependable, punctual, innovative, motivated, ethical and resourceful.
