Position Details & Responsibilities

We have a New opportunity for a Technical Service and Reliability Engineer with a leading OEM that specializes in the design, manufacturing and commercialization of Ground Engaging Tools (teeth, adapters, shrouds and locking elements) for earth-moving machinery (e.g. excavators, loaders, draglines, etc...).

The territory for this role is AZ, UT, CO, NV, NM and Candidates should currently reside in that area and 75% Travel within the Region will be required.  

The Primary Responsibility for this role is to ensure the functionality and quality of products in the U.S. through the performance and monitoring of field tests and critical installations, as well as the satisfaction of the end customer through advice, support, training, and after-sales technical assistance carried out in the field.

Additional Responsibilities will include:

  • Collect, analyze and inform Client of all product and market related information.
  • Track the performance of products and competing products in the field by evaluating their performance, analyzing their wear and penetration patterns.  
  • Analyze the specific operation of the bucket and the machine, collecting and analyzing operating data, yields and productivity.  
  • Perform comparative tests with competitive products to demonstrate the highest value of our products, issuing the corresponding technical reports.  
  • Support the Technical Service & Reliability Manager in the improvement of procedures, instructions and technical forms, providing information on uses, both in the initial installation of the product and in the verification of the bucket in operation and repair.
  • Support the Technical Service & Reliability Manager in the preparation and improvement of instructions or procedures related to the technical service. –
  • Support the Product Manager in identifying improvements or new products to be developed.

 

This position will offer a Salary in the $120K Range + 10% Bonus possibility with Excellent Benefits and advancement opportunities.

Qualifications

B.S. or M.S. level degree in a technical discipline (e.g., Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mining Engineering).

Candidates must come specifically from the mining sector with at least 3 years of experience as GET Technical Services Engineer or Product Support Representative or more than 5 years as after-sales support for other industrial products related to the mining industry.

Ideally expertise on earth-moving machines, buckets, buckets reparation, welding, GET.

Complementary training: Welding, CAD/CAE, Project Management, Manufacturing Processes, Metallurgy.

Ability to travel (75%), work independently with high customer orientation and with good leadership, interpersonal and communication skills.
