Position Details & Responsibilities

Herk & Associates has been retained by a material handling company in North Carolina to help them identify an experienced and talented Parts Manager to add to their team. We need someone that can train and monitor the performance of the parts team, as well as maintain solid vendor relationships. This person will be managing P & L, inventory, and customer growth.

Qualifications

Responsibilities will include:

  • Managing the parts department to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Manage daily branch activities to achieve desired profit margins outlined in yearly budget.
  • Manage inventory ensuring stock levels are maintained and are accurate.
  • Monitor off site warehouses including field service technician inventories.
  • Reduce slow moving/obsolete inventory.
  • Train, motivate and supervise subordinates in daily tasks monitoring efficiencies.
  • Driving sales for the Parts Department 
  • Excellent customer service skills
