The Sales Manager is responsible for the management and overall performance of the Sales and Rental departments of the company. This individual must ensure the company meets its revenue, sales growth, profit, market share and expense goals. This individual will manage sales teams, operations and resources, as well as define and coordinate sales training programs that enable staff to achieve their potential and support company sales objectives. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
This individual must be focused, determined to improve processes and business practices, and to persevere through obstacles to get the job done. This individual must also be open minded and creative to new ideas and change as we evolve as a company and build loyalty through excellent customer service. Self-motivated to lead with enthusiasm and a sense of urgency is a must. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with follow up to build trust among internal and external customers. Must be organized, detailed oriented and accurate along with analytical skills for equipment forecasting in changing market conditions. Strong decision-making and leadership skills are required to provide a positive working culture for the sales team.
SKILLS & ABILITIES
Education: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
Experience: 5+ related experience
Computer Skills: General computer skills required. High level of Excel skills.
Physical Demands: Occasionally standing, walking, and lifting outside of the office environment. Must be able to wear Personal Protective Equipment when/where applicable.
