Position Details & Responsibilities

Flint Construction and Forestry is currently seeking an experienced Product Support Sales Representative for our Macon, Georgia location. An ideal candidate should have a working knowledge of equipment and understand how to develop and build customer relationships in an assigned territory.
  • Qualified candidates will be responsible for the coverage, retention, development and acquisition of customers within a sales territory to increase parts and service sales for construction and forestry equipment.
  • Develop sales forecast and business plans for each assigned customer.
  • Perform general machine inspections on site.
  • Provide maintenance and service recommendations to customers.
  • Provide feedback on competitive pricing and promotions.
  • Responsible for territory-specific parts and service sales budget goals.
  • Provide support for the customers’ use of technology products and promoting JD WorkSight / ForestSight offerings.

Qualifications

  • Must be self-motivated, sales oriented and committed to a high standard of customer service.
  • Prior experience in heavy equipment parts and service business required.
  • John Deere equipment experience preferred.
  • Written and oral communication skills necessary.
  • Ability to use standard computer applications and adopt new technologies quickly.
  • Must have a clean MVR.
