Position Details & Responsibilities

H&A has been retained by a prominent dealer in Northern NJ seeking a hands on Service Manager to run their shop at optimal efficiency. 

Service Manager –

Job Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Build team environment within the shop.
  • Provide outstanding customer satisfaction
  • Generate leads
  • Implement and monitor proactive maintenance and service
  • Increase effective billing rate
  • Assist in dispute resolution



  • Knowledge of Forklift/Heavy Equipment a MUST.
  • Assertive, highly-motivated and results-driven communicator (spoken and written) who is well organized.
  • Time Management with problem solving, conflict resolution and negotiating skills.
  • Degree in automotive/industrial technology preferred but nothing beats successful     experience.
  • Technology driven thru solid computer skills – Microsoft programs such as Word & Excel a must.
