Overview

  • Midsouth Rentals is a growing, independent equipment rental company searching for a regional manager.  The regional manager of the the Midsouth Rentals Western Kentucky region will be responsible for overseeing operations as a whole between multiple branch locations.

Job Description

Duties may include but are not limited too:

  • Commuinicate with branch managers on daily operations.
  • Work with corporate level employees to ensure best rental practices are implemented.
  • Frequently visit each branch to individually work with branch managers and employees, as well as observe operations.
  • Oversee staffing issues.
  • Control rental fleet staging, tansfers, and sourcing.
  • Communicate with sales rep(s).
  • Effectively plan and coordinate equipment sharing between branches.
  • Assess equipment supply and demand in branch locations and surrounding areas.

Qualifications

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Bachelor`s Degree preferred
  • 5 years minimum experience in management and/or the rental industry
  • Strong understanding of the equipment rental industry
  • Basic undersanding of computers and ability to learn an inventory management software
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Effective leadership and communication skills
  • Positive attitude
