Job Description

This is a great opportunity to take a leadership role in the newly created sales and marketing department.  This role will be responsible for hiring, training, developing and managing a successful sales team.  The Senior Sales Executive will be responsible for leading the strategy and go-to-market execution to meet or exceed the company`s monthly, quarterly and annual sales objectives of North America.  

We are looking for an “industry insider” – an experienced sales or business development leader who brings existing relationships with leading equipment OEMs, Dealerships or with Rental Companies. The objective is to build relationships both at top-down (OEM) and bottom-up (dealership/ rental) and demonstrate how our platform adds value to dealerships and rentals companies – ultimately to OEMs.

The initial scope of focus (defined territory) will be North America, but this role has the potential to develop into global responsibility.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Creatively leverage our fast-growing enterprise dealership & rental business platform to aggressively identify, pursue, and close deals in defined verticals.
  • Identify, design, develop and implement market-driven territory/sales strategies to achieve revenue goals and the company’s mission.
  • Work closely with the marketing, consulting and product management team, and with customers, to ensure that e-Emphasys delivers products and services that exceed expectations.
  • Continuous improvement in the form of training and assisting team members develop their skills.
  • Maintaining extensive knowledge of the current developments in the business market to assess the position of the company with continuous improvement in mind.
  • Advocate consultative customer relationships.
  • Continually foster team culture with and between business functions
  • Works closely with our senior leadership team to determine the right strategy for pursuing the top equipment OEMs that e-Emphasys does not presently have a deep relationship with.
  • Develop strategic relationships with key OEM employees, their retail channel (dealerships), current or potential partners and industry organizations as appropriate.
  • Identify/qualify new growth markets to include adjacent markets and customers.


Required Education and Experience


  • 10+ years of sales management and relevant client facing experience in an enterprise application or heavy equipment sales environment.
  • Proven track record of successfully meeting and exceeding an individual and team’s sales quota for a B2B application software offering.
  • Experienced with strong value-based and consultative solution selling sales methodology.
  • Experience with using a CRM (especially MSFT Dynamics or SFDC) and providing sales reports to management directly through the CRM tool.
  • Previous experience in marketing or selling to dealers and rental companies of heavy equipment, or related industries, would be a distinct advantage.
  • Self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit and ability to work independently in a start-up type environment. Willing to get your hands dirty and do whatever it takes to “get the job done”.

Place of Employment

Place of employment will be at our corporate office in Cary, NC. You should be willing to relocate to Cary, NC, the city which is ranked amongst the ‘best places to live’ in America.
