LiuGong North America, a subsidiary of Guangxi Liugong Machinery Co, LTD., is in Katy, TX. Globally headquartered in China, LiuGong manufactures heavy construction machinery and forklifts for material handling.

LiuGong seeks a Sales Operations Coordinator to join the LiuGong Family. 

Purpose

The Sales Operations Coordinator will assist the Sales Operation Manager with LiuGong`s whole goods supply chain of construction machinery and forklifts.  As the Coordinator, you will assist with for inventory sourcing, global logistics, freight, as well as machine orders and procurement. Other responsibilities include import compliance regulations and law, machine pre-shipment procedures, SAP maintenance financial accounting and invoicing.  

Office hours are M-F 8am – 5pm.

Job Duties

The initial responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

  • Assist with inventory management and machine availability.
  • Management of Import and Export compliance documentation regarding both CBP and EPA requirements.
  • Creation of Manufacturer’s Certificates of Origin, Letters of Authorization, Transport Bills of Lading, CCI Forms and Packing Lists.
  • Prepare UCC filings and Consignment Rental UCC filings with NCS along with Purchase Money Security Interests.
  • Process machine orders, including logistics management for delivery’s to dealers.
  • Heavy Excel reporting to subsidiary management and HQ in China.
  • Manage invoicing and payment with financial institutions for dealer orders.
  • Assist with Accounts Receivable.
  • Furnish Credit references to trade accounts, when requested and upon application to additional logistics providers.
  • Assist with Sales Forecasts and transportation purchase orders.
  • Assist with monthly Value Chain Report, Variant Machine Report, Machine Value Report, SAP Machine Inventory Report, and YTD Sales Reports.
  • Assist with Reporting to HQ: Shipment and Invoice Forecast; Actual Shipped Quantity report for LGNA management and HQ reporting.
  • Release Authorizations for CE and FL Sales
  • Create and provide Sales Invoices for purchased machines through SAP processes.
  • Coordinate and monitor the shipment of the machines purchased, then submit weekly shipment report accordingly by each Friday through the backorder analysis.
  • Coordinate TPEM business and develop TPEM report as requested.
  • Organize and attended meetings between LGNA and Vendors as needed for both promoting growth and resolving issues.
  • And other job duties as required for the business.

Qualifications

Skills/Qualifications

  • Must have advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel, and Operating Systems.
  • Must have SAP experience.
  • Advanced written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must have the ability to work closely with employees, dealers, and customers.
  • Refined ability to delegate responsibilities and provide leadership and training to key personnel.
  • Must be able to travel both domestically and internationally when needed.
  • Knowledge of import regulations and compliance.
  • Must have strong analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage time and workload effectively.
  • Experience in negotiating and working with suppliers.
  • Must be comfortable in fast paced, team, and results oriented environment.
  • All duties and requirements are essential to job function.
  • College degree preferred but work experience will be considered.
  • Experience in the construction equipment or transportation-imports/exports.
