Ledwell is a custom manufacturer of truck bodies and trailers for the construction, equipment rental, chemical, oil, vacuum and agricultural markets.  We offer products across North America and provide key solutions for our truck body, trailer and chassis customers.  Focused on leading the industry in quality built products, Ledwell manufactures the majority of the parts needed to build our equipment.

Job Description Summary

With over 70 successful years in this marketplace, we are seeking a Sales Account Representative to offer our products and solutions to prospects and customers in the Western states.  This role will be responsible for selling our full product line while maintaining key existing partnerships and fostering new profitable relationships within this assigned territory.

Description of Responsibilities

  • Service existing accounts, obtains orders, and establishes new accounts with enthusiasm.
  • Identify, prospect, consult, specify, configure, quote, and sell our products to expand our customer base.
  • Area of Responsibility will be Western states that will include NM, AZ, CO, UT, CA, NV, OR, ID and WA. This role will require consistent travel throughout the territory.
  • Work cooperatively with management to create and implement a sales strategy to exceed goals for each market segment or product family.
  • Keep an organized sales plan/strategy while maintaining communication with prospects, customers and management through a CRM System.
  • A willingness to work with a team in taking care of key national accounts/customers.
  • Monitor competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, and new strategies from customer contact and current industry trends.
  • Resolve potential customer complaints by investigating problems, developing solutions, preparing reports and making recommendations to management.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction and confirm that all transactions are completed in a highly ethical and professional manner.

Qualifications

Requirements

  • Confidence in your ability to develop trusted relationships through effective communication and listening skills.
  • Successful industrial sales experience a must.  Truck, construction/rental equipment, or trailer sales skill preferred.
  • Bachelor’s Degree or relevant education with proper training and experience.
  • Self-motivated and organized with the ability to effectively manage your time, deadlines and customer expectations.
  • Mechanically minded and able to grasp various equipment design and operation.
  • Must be qualified in using Microsoft Excel, Word, PPT, Outlook, and CRM.
