Position Details & Responsibilities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Management of the total business relationship with assigned mine sites. Effectively improve availability, ensuring profitability for mining business and to ensure that customer is satisfied with PMC product offerings and support.

 Develop and implement standard reporting procedures for collection of time critical data related to equipment reliability and operating costs at mine sites.

 Develop and execute standard processes to analyze data to manage customer satisfaction and opportunities while ensuring continuous improvement.

 Key Job Activities:

  • Business relationship manager at the following levels:
    • Product Support
    • Technical Support
    • Building effective relationships with applicable mining personnel
    • Assist customer with component repair, rebuild and or replacement decisions. Major components/minor components
    • Welding fabrication and line-boring
    • Preventative Maintenance & Service Contracts

Qualifications

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

  • Minimum Education: High school diploma or GED, with some college level business courses
  • Minimum Experience: 8 years of experience in mining maintenance or construction
  • Experience Defined:
    • Customer Service Experience – 3 plus years
    • Sales Experience – 3 plus years
    • Technical or Mechanical – 3 plus years
    • Dealership experience in a parts or service-related functions – 3 plus years
  • Required Skills and Competencies
    • Data Entry / Organizational Skills
    • Telephone Skills / Communication Skills
    • Safety Knowledge
    • Reading / Math / Writing Skills
    • Reasoning Skills
    • Computer Skills:
      • Microsoft Word – Basic Level
      • Microsoft Excel – Basic Level

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
  • Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with federal, state and local standards
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
  • Must be able to talk, listen and speak clearly on telephone
  • Must have a clean driving record
