Christiansted Equipment, Ltd. a leader in the equipment rental and contractor supply distribution industry is seeking an experienced General Manager. The right individual will be a critical member of our management team and will be expected to be a significant contributor to our continued growth. We are looking for a strong leader that has experience in offering customized “powerful solutions” to fit our customer’s equipment, tooling and consumable needs.

As General Manager you will be responsible for managing the branch operations (encompassing customer service, equipment rental, tool repair, consumable sales, distribution and warehousing) while increasing rental, service and sales opportunities. Working closely with on-site staff and contractors, this position will ensure sales, tool distribution and repair operations/production objectives are achieved while fulfilling quality and profitability demands. Success will be measured by one’s ability to establish and implement standards to facilitate attainment of sales goals, profitability and to enhance resource efficiencies, safety, workmanship, accuracy and turnaround to ensure customer satisfaction goals are exceeded.

 

Qualified candidates must have a minimum of five years of successful Sales and Operations management experience in a related industry. Related titles may include Rental Branch Manager, Operations Manager, Unit Manager, Dealership Manager, Rental Manager, or similar experience. Prior Sales or Operational experience in equipment rental, tool repair & maintenance, warehousing, personnel, production scheduling and cost control responsibilities is preferred.

 

We are looking for an exceptional leader that has strong communication, account management, strategic planning and organization skills, along with the ability to work independently, with minimal direction. Excellent compensation package included. We are seeking candidates currently residing in Christiansted, St. Croix or are willing to permanently relocate there.

Qualifications

Strong leadership experience 

Branch management/operations experience (encompassing customer service, equipment rental, tool repair, consumable sales, distribution and warehousing).

Past experience in increasing rental, service and sales opportunities.

Has worked closely with on-site staff and contractors

Abilitiy to establish and implement standards to facilitate attainment of sales goals, profitability and to enhance resource efficiencies, safety, workmanship, accuracy and turnaround to ensure customer satisfaction goals are exceeded.

Minimum of five years of successful Sales and Operations management experience in a related industry.
