Job Summary

Maximize customer satisfaction by assisting in parts operations, which are responsive to customer needs. This includes timely, high quality parts service at competitive costs to the customer while maintaining sufficient profit margins and professional image for All Lift Service Co. Inc.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Parts sales and support to external and internal customers that exceeds a high standard of customer service. An environment in which associates are self-motivated and responsive to the needs of the customer.

  • Maintain and implement systems and documentation for inventory control. Establish procedures that assure quality service at optimum inventory levels and turn ratios as agreed upon or defined by management.

  • Establish methods for reporting the status of all parts operations to management.

  • Maintain continuous contact and positive relationships with customers and equipment vendors. 

Qualifications

Skills Required

  •  Must demonstrate a high degree of communication and organizational skills to include the ability to apply logic and constructive thinking to solve problems.

  • Provide effective oral and written communications to customers, management and vendors.

  • Must be able to perform mathematical calculations, including decimals and percentages.

  • Possesses the ability to perform medium duty physical work, including sufficient strength and agility to occasionally exert up to 50 pounds of force and frequently handle loads to 20 pounds.

  • Must have the physical stamina to handle 10-pound loads continuously with full body motion for climbing, reaching, pushing, lifting and reaching, etc.

    Education and Work Experience

  • Must be PC literate and posses a thorough knowledge of general business procedures. These may be acquired via secondary education or additional college level courses, trade school training, or previous employment experience relevant to the position.
  • Has general knowledge of business administration with a high degree of mechanical knowledge and experience.

  • Possesses five to ten years of relevant business experience with previous supervisory experience. Must have a working knowledge of service operations and computerized parts programs.

Working Conditions

Work is performed in a maintenance environment with potential equipment movement hazards as well as exposure to chemicals and solvents that require knowledge of proper safety procedures. The demands of the position often exceed normal working conditions. Company workloads may require work after hours or on weekends.
