Builtrite Manufacturing is seeking a Regional Sales Manager to join our team and to cover the following States: Pennsylvania, Kentucky, Virginia, West Virginia, Maryland, Delaware, Tennessee, North Carolina, South Carolina and the District of Columbia. Builtrite Manufacturing is a growing, US based manufacturer of stationary electric material handlers, truck mounted material handlers and a variety of attachments for the scrap recycling, solid waste (including C&D), general construction and railroad markets. This person is the face of the company and the liaison between the customer/dealer and the factory. For more information on Builtrite and its products, please go to www.builtrite.com.
1] A self-starter with the ability to travel at least 3 weeks per month in the territory, calling on both end users and establishing distributors for our products.
2] Attend trade association meetings / shows as required.
3] At least 3 years experience, working in the construction equipment industry. Specific experience working in the scrap recycling, solid waste and/or railroad markets a plus.
4] Mechanical aptitude a plus. Although not expected to be a mechanic/service person, we do expect this person to communicate service issues back to our service department.
5] College degree preferred but will take into consideration candidates with significant experiences working in the industries mentioned above.
6] Must be a self starter and treat this position as his/her own business. Significant leeway will be given to this person to run their territory as they see fit, provided sales goals are being met. Experience with managing distributors is a plus.
7] Must have ability to communicate well with both yard workers and company owners as well as distributor personnel. Conduct dealer personnel sales training sessions.
8] Basic computer skills a must (Microsoft Outlook, Word, Power Point, Excel, etc.). Weekly call reports entered using SalesForce CRM software.
