Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Lube Technician with a CDL to safely operate a Lube Service Truck, and to perform routine preventative maintenance and inspections on rental and customer owned equipment.    The Lube Technician will be responsible for safely performing oil and filter changes at scheduled intervals, proper handling of new and used lubricants and filters, and working in a team environment to exceed the customers expectations.  The Lube Technician should be the first to identify potential repairs needed during the PM service and inspection and will need to accurately communicate identified operational issues to management for service dispatching.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Associates Degree or equivalent trade school training.
  • General knowledge of PM schedules and processes.
  • Ability to work a rotating on-call schedule including nights and weekends.
  • Self-Motivated and able to work in a team with limited supervision.
  • Strong Communication required; Open Communication on status of maintenance and repairs needed to management.
  • Maintain Professional Appearance.
  • Requires physical and mental ability to operate a lube truck and associated equipment including pumps, hoses, and dispensing nozzles.
  • Knowledge of Oil and Gas Industry Preferred.
  • Knowledge of hand tools/ power tools.
  • Utilizing technicians own hand tools is a plus.
  • Ability to pass pre-employment and random drug screenings, background check, road test, and driving record review.
  • Class A CDL with Hazmat and Air Brake Endorsement is a plus.
  • Ability to understand necessary safety procedures and precautions.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • Wears personal protective equipment as required by the industry.
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 80 pounds.
  • Good fine motor skills, coordination, range of motion and grip strength.
  • Ability to work safely around heavy equipment.
  • Work in extreme hot and cold weather.
  • Will be exposed to loud noises
  • Ability to work in an environment with extreme dust and dirt.

 

COMPENSATION STRUCTURE:

The Lube Technician will receive a competitive hourly rate of pay and will also be eligible for performance bonuses based on criteria established by the company’s management team.
