Position Details & Responsibilities

Deeply rooted, construction equipment dealership is expanding its sales force and seeking a field based, face to face, territory representative. In this role, you will be part of a skillful and creative team, driven by Tenacity and Professional Passion, to develop and maintain customer relationships that result in high levels of market share and sales volume performance.

Essential Functions:

  • Establish and maintain consultative relationship with customers, determine customer needs and best way to satisfy those needs.
  • Identify, profile, and prospect the territory; develop and enlarge the customer base.
  • Organize time and information in a manner to maximize effectiveness, including usage of a CRM System as a tool to achieve this function.
  • Maintain a high level of understanding of marketing and finance programs, prepare quotations outlining features, benefits and any available financing programs.
  • Study and maintain knowledge of competition’s machines, finance and marketing programs
  • Achieve and maintain excellent product knowledge and personal selling skills through sales schools and self-study.
  • Follow up to insure that all aspects of sales transactions are correct and completed on time.
  • Insure that all contracts and transactions are conducted in an ethical and professional manner.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Confidence in your sales skill level, relationship development ability, and hunger to constantly learn and improve is a must.
  • Excellent inter-personal skills
  • Excellent communicational skills
  • High School Education with some post-secondary education preferred
  • Self-motivated with ability to organize and manage time effectively.
  • Intermediate level computer skills with working knowledge of: Work, Excel, & Outlook AND the ability to use/learn the CRM System
  • MUST OWN A HIGH LEVEL OF POSITIVE ENERGY AND STEADFAST GRIT
  • THE ABILITY TO DETERMINE YOUR OWN SALARY, BASED ON SALES PERFORMANCE
