BYD, the world’s largest battery electric vehicle manufacturer, is launching an innovative forklift product line.  We are looking for a leader to create, manage and continually enhance a customer-focused OEM product training, service and parts program.   

The Ideal candidate comes from another multinational OEM or large dealer, knows what the industry expects, and believes it can be done better. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

  • Guide and oversee the development of parts, service and training programs including but not limited to establishing policies and procedures, creating and refining documents, integrating POS, service tracking and inventory control systems, hiring and facilities build-out, transportation coordination, ongoing training and customer support.
  • Envision, get organization buy-in and implement organizational growth strategies that fully utilize resources and maximize value to our customers.
  • Collaborate with international counterparts to attain continual improvement across all operations



  • 5 years of experience in similar role at OEM or large dealership level preferred
  • Excellent oral and written skills a requirement to effectively support and negotiate with internal and external customers.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule forms

The employee is frequently required to sit. The employee must frequently lift and /or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
