Territory Sales Manager (Outside Sales) General Implement - Mississippi and Louisiana Territory

Position Overview

There is nothing in our inventory as valuable as the associates who carry our reputation into the marketplace. With the training we provide, the Aftermarket Sales Associate helps Arnold to keep that standing.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Must control expenses required in transacting sales
  • Ensures customers are invoiced and funds received by the Company in a timely manner
  • Provide financial counseling/marketing to entire customer base, upon request, to facilitate sales
  • Submits a summary of account activity on a monthly basis
  • Develop and expand current customer database and update monthly
  • Prepares and delivers professional sales presentations and quotations to include the follow up necessary to secure the business
  • Develops, implements, and executes a marketing plan for an assigned customer base
  • Contacts customers to achieve maximum aftermarket sales and profit for the company
  • Strategically plans marketing to provide for customer base
  • Delivery of equipment
  • Ability to travel for extended periods of time
  • Above all else, provides Silver Service to Arnold Machinery Company customers

Non-essential Job Functions:

  • Data entry and various office duties
  • Maintain a clean workspace



· Must have a good mechanical aptitude

· Maintain a good driving record

· Must be able to lift and carry 50-80 lbs

· Must live in Mississippi and Louisiana territory

Physical Demands and Working Conditions:

· Ability to sit for extended periods

· Reaches to answer phones

· Moves about, occasionally through uneven terrain

· Read paperwork, files and records on the computer

· Communicates by phone and in person

· Bends body to file various paperwork

· Walking and moving about on foot often through uneven terrain

· Hears well enough to receive communication by radio, phone and in person

· Bends body downward and forward by bending at knees or waist

· Remains in standing position if required to perform various functions of the job

· Climbs in and out of equipment


· High School Diploma or equivalent

· Agricultural background preferred
