Position Details & Responsibilities

JOB SUMMARY: The National Accounts Inside Sales Rep is responsible for growth of sales revenue to assigned commercial customers. Maintaining strong customer relationships as a single point of contact, creating new sales opportunities, and projecting a professional image on behalf of Polaris will be necessary for success. The Inside Sales Rep works closely with other team leaders to drive business growth and support customer requirements.


  • Set and achieve sales targets by assigned vertical markets
  • Create and submit formal product quotes to assigned customers and support quote opportunities for other sales team members
  • Manage National Accounts sales funnel in defined market verticals
  • Lead customer relationships and pursuits - serve as single point of contact with assigned customers regarding basic technical questions, order and delivery status, invoicing and accounts payable questions, and other related issues with the national account customers
  • Providing sales forecasts based on new sales opportunities
  • Work with Polaris Commercial Division and the Polaris Dealer Field Sales force to ensure good coordination and avoid/minimize any channel conflict
  • Lead process improvement initiatives, setting efficiency targets around customer experience
  • Create and share customer, marketplace, and competitive intelligence reporting
  • Represent Polaris in a professional manner at all times and promotes professionalism and goodwill within the dealer network.



  • Bachelor`s degree in business, marketing, finance, communications or related field.
  • Minimum 4-5 years of sales experience required; inside sales experience preferred.
  • Experience with business to business sales preferred.
  • Strong numeric skills, with the ability to calculate amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, and percentages.
  • Basic knowledge and application of statistics.
  • Knowledge and experience and/or aptitude working with financial and insurance services
  • Proficiency with computer programs: Word, PowerPoint, Excel
  • Excellent phone and written communication skills are required.
