Position Details & Responsibilities

Werk-Brau Co., Inc., a leading manufacturer of a complete line of O.E.M. and replacement attachments for excavators, mini excavators, backhoes, mini & full size loaders, and crawler loaders is aggressively searching for a Regional Account Manager to cover our Upper Midwest territory.

Job Summary

  • Experienced in maintaining and growing legacy accounts
  • Experienced in prospecting new key accounts to add to our customer base
  • Identify needs based product and service solutions for current and new customers
  • Strive for excellent customer service and support

Responsibility and Accountability

  • Ability to understand and learn OEM and aftermarket heavy machinery and construction attachments applications to gain quote and sales opportunities
  • Able to travel for a full week at a time in your assigned regional area
  • Travel frequency, every other week (customer locations, tradeshows, etc)
  • Prior attachment and sales experience should allow candidate to be nearly self-sufficient after first 90 days of sales & product training
  • Create sales presentations, and effectively present the material to customer in person or electronically (phone, screen sharing, webinar, etc)
  • Create effective correspondence for customers.
  • Create brief/concise sales trip reports in a timely manner

Qualifications

Competencies

  • Knowledge of construction heavy equipment
  • Knowledge of attachments is a plus
  • Strong problem solving and excellent negotiation skills
  • Software: Microsoft office suite (outlook, word, excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, etc), Cloud platforms, CRM (Salesforce, Microsoft, ACT, Goldmine, etc.), ERP systems
  • Prior experience and strong skills in using CRM and ERP systems is a must. Enter in new customers, contacts, create quotes in CRM system. Use CRM system for prospecting, follow ups, logging in strategic information
  • Prior experience with Excel - ability to create spreadsheets with formulas, formatting, pricing, discounts, etc
  • Second language is a plus (Spanish, French, Portuguese)

Qualifications

  • Education: Associates or Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • Experience: 2-3 years in the field is preferred
