Position Details & Responsibilities

JESCO is the exclusive John Deere Construction Equipment Dealer and has an immediate need for a Regional Service Manager.

As a Regional Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest levels of effectiveness and efficiency within assigned territory by developing business and market strategies to drive growth and profitability, engage and motivate employees, ensure employees are in the right positions, provide sales leadership and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage W.I.P. process to ensure active jobs are completed timely to improve customer satisfaction and reduce down-time.
  • Bolster and support Safety culture within the dealership.
  • Attend factory seminars, training courses and trade show events to keep up on industry trends and new technology.
  • Maintain projected absorption percentage.
  • Work to support a highly functioning and effective CSA program.
  • Set goals and monitor performance in individual assigned branches.
  • Be aware of competition and market conditions.
  • Schedule monthly conference calls with Service Managers to foster better communication and best practices.
  • Utilize Service Branch Scorecard to measure Service Manager Performance.
  • Maintain a professional image at all branches.
  • Capacity to oversee multiple branches possessing technical skill set to function as an individual contributor, mentor and coach.
  • Ability to set and meet high standards of service and develop a work force that embraces a culture of quality, service and safety.
  • Perform effectively and proactively in stressful situations.
  • Interpret/administer policies & procedures consistently and objectively.
  • Flexibility and ability to work in an evolving and dynamic company.
  • Any tasks/responsibilities assigned by management.

 

Qualifications

REQUIRMENTS:

  • As Regional Service Manager you must display initiative, passion and a strong work ethic with the ability to lead, plan and manage change.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills along with negotiating abilities.
  • It is vital as RSM to be able to function effectively, exert influence, and gain consensus at all organization levels.
  • Must have solid organizational, time management and prioritization skills.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum of 10 years Management in Dealership environment.
