Position Details & Responsibilities

The CWP & Allied Sales Manager is an integral part of the C&F Management Team supporting the ongoing development and execution of the company’s strategies for sales, rental, marketing, inventory and sales team management towards achieving business plan goals. This position is focused on growing retail and rental market share, participation, driving revenue, understating competition trends and enhancing customer relationships. It is critical that this role provides direction, training and motivation of department personnel and as a result will require time in the field with the sales team.  The CWP & Allied Sales Manager reports directly to the Vice President of Flint Construction & Forestry Division and will be based in the Atlanta, Georgia office.

Principal Accountabilities

  • Develop and present annual sales & marketing plans for respective product lines
  • Responsible for providing leadership in all areas of the CWP & Allied products
  • Ongoing communication with various factory representatives from represented manufactures
  • Provide input on target stock levels, inventory levels and product configurations
  • Monitor and create highly effective geographic sales coverage
  • Cross functionally lead CWP sales force through CRM campaigns, process and order closing
  • Review monthly market share reports for corrective actions
  • Support all stages of sales including prospecting, customer acquisition, retention and loyalty
  • Support  customer events that drive relationships and new sales
  • Review and distribute manufacturing merchandising plans to team
  • Ensure Deere and represented allied brands are in compliance and aligned to business goals
  • Motivate and encourage sales staff to obtain business plan goals
  • Participate in leading, training, coaching and development of sales and rental staff

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business or relevant work experience
  • Proficient in the use and analysis of data to formulate effective sales strategies
  • Ability to lead by example and 3 – 5 years Sales and or Rental Management experience
  • Must have high competence in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and quickly adapt to new software systems. CRM experience a plus.

  • Must have good interpersonal skills and ability to develop customer relationships
  • Must be able to handle multiple projects simultaneously
  • Must coordinate all efforts with the CWP & Allied Sales Teams
  • Must adhere to ethical principles, have sound character and honesty
  • Must take personal responsibility and ownership of actions and results
  • Places the interest of the company ahead of the interest of a specific area or person
