General Job Summary: 


The successful candidate will work under the direction of the Product Support Coordinator to facilitate and perform responsibilities related to the Company’s Parts and Sales Department by administering the parts and sales processes between the Company and employees.  The Inside Parts, Sales & Rental Coordinator will also serve as a liaison between the Company and all suppliers related to the sale of whole goods and attachments.  The Inside Parts, Sales & Rental Coordinator will also handle the administrative functions of the business. 


 


Principal Duties and Responsibilities:



  • Facilitator of parts, sales and service administrative processes between the Company and Branch Territory Sales Representatives and the Product Support Coordinator

  • Liaison between the Company and all suppliers as they relate to the sale of Whole Goods and Attachments

  • Order all branch related parts, equipment and attachments needs, via company Inventory Manager or directly when appropriate

  • Maintenance of computer files as they relate to the Whole Goods sales processes and rental

  • Primary office resource for Product Support Coordinator and Territory Sales Representatives

  • Facilitate the quote deal sheets, invoicing, and completion of parts, sales and service transactions as the primary conduit between product support and field sales staff

  • Maintain and communicate all manufacturers’ products, programs and pricing to the Territory Sales Representatives

  • Conduit for sales related information between field staff and primary suppliers

  • Maintain daily the Branch Hot Deal Sheet and supply weekly updates to management

  • Facilitate rental customer call-ins – Quote pricing and equipment availability and secure business when possible and provide sales leads to Territory Sales Representatives

  • Instruct rental customers on equipment operation at time of pickup when appropriate

  • Regular reporting of inventory – parts, sales and rental

  • Manage equipment and attachment inventory – rental readiness, condition, and communicate needs to Rental Fleet Manager and service department

  • Coordinate damage and cost recovery from rentals and demo with Service Department and customer; ensure cost recovery where appropriate

  • Assist, work with and sell parts and equipment to “walk–in” customers

  • Facilitator of machine prep with service and parts

  • Telephone cold-calling of sales prospects – provide sales leads to Territory Sales Representative


Qualifications

Education and Experience: 



  • Bachelors Degree in business related discipline or equivalent experience

  • Must have minimum of five years of experience in the industry

Working Conditions:


Physical surroundings are generally pleasant and comfortable with minimal exposure to injury or other hazards with moderate level of noise. Minimal travel is required, using own transportation, out of the office to attend meetings within the Company, with local businesses or work-related functions.  This position may spend extended periods of time at a desk, computer terminal, on phone, or operating other office machines requiring eye-hand coordination and finger dexterity.  


 


Mild to moderate stress may be experienced due to periods of interaction with internal and external customers and working with multiple priorities with deadlines.
