Jim Herk - President
Jim entered the equipment industry in 1991 as a general manager of a multi-store equipment dealership. Beginning in 1998, Jim devoted his time to recruiting personnel to operate dealerships. His experience in general management, sales, rental and product support have provided him with the ability to identify the talent necessary to succeed in various positions in a dealer organization.
Jim has traveled to hundreds of dealerships across the nation and consulted with their management teams regarding personnel needs. This has enhanced his knowledge of the type of personnel that make a dealership work well. Jim is able to recognize quality, talented, successful people with the right skill set and experience that fit the culture of the organization.
Christian Gueyser - Web & Administrative Manager
Christian Gueyser has watched the company expand from a three person operation with 9,000 database entries to its current 40,000 nationwide contacts. As Web and Administrative manager Christian’s main responsibilities have been to both maintain and grow the Herk & Associates industry database. In addition to the database and website, Christian is responsible for marketing and the majority of written material including the mailer sent weekly to the database. Christian also created the written content seen on the website!
Ben Carapetyan - VP of Operations
Ben Carapetyan joined Herk & Associates in 2004 shortly after earning his Bachelors Degree in Sociology from Arizona State University. Ben, originally from Germany, moved to Arizona in 1996 and came to Herk & Associates as an administrative employee. After a short time it was apparent Ben was skilled at client interaction and assumed the role of lead Staffing Specialist. Ben has become an indispensable part of the Herk & Associates team. In four-short years, he has become an extremely valuable part of the Herk & Associates team. His intelligence, people skills and strong work ethic have brought him great success including a recent promotion to VP of Operations.
Jim Brammer - Staffing Specialist
Jim Brammer is a native Arizonan who moved from Tucson to Phoenix in 2007 to work for Herk & Associates. For several years before joining Herk & Associates Jim worked in the information technology field for a major computer software company. From Jim’s prior experience he brings excellent customer relations skills and professionalism that have transfered well into his current role.
